Start with the reality of your operation.

Mayker connects machines, systems and infrastructure so reliable production data can flow to the applications, people and decisions that depend on it.

The Bigger Picture

You can’t improve production with data you can’t reach.

Your next improvement should not start with another integration project. Yet on many shop floors, every new application, dashboard or report starts back at the machine. Data is pulled from a PLC, renamed, copied into another system and connected to one specific use case.

‍

Repeat that across lines and sites, and no one has a clear view of how everything still fits together.

‍

Our view is simple: production data should not have to be unlocked again every time you want to do something new with it. Connect it, give it the right structure and keep it under your control, so the next application or improvement can build on what is already there.

Our Offerings

Connect the shop floor without adding more complexity.

Each offering tackles a different part of the same challenge: making production data easier to access, move and reuse across your operation.

Get clarity before committing to a Unified Namespace implementation. {Maturity check for UNS}

The ambition may be clear, but the way forward is not. Your OT landscape has grown over time, data is structured differently across systems and several use cases compete for priority.We map what is already in place and translate your ambitions into a target architecture and implementation roadmap. Within four to six weeks, you know where you are, where to go and how to get there.

‍

Usefull when {skip}

You want to implement a Unified Namespace, but Operations, IT and OT are not yet aligned on the current landscape, priorities and requirements. Starting now could mean investing time and budget in the wrong architecture.

‍

What you get {skip}
  • A documented view of your OT landscape and data flows
  • A current and target architecture
  • Prioritised use cases based on feasibility and strategic impact
  • A roadmap towards Unified Namespace implementation

‍

Build a Unified Namespace, not another point-to-point connection. {UNS platforms}

We implement a Unified Namespace that makes production data available across machines, systems and applications. Mayker defines the data structure, connects the required publishers and consuming systems, and puts the platform into operation within your existing environment.

‍

Usefull when {skip}

Point-to-point connections have grown across machines, systems or sites. Data sits in silos, naming differs between systems and every new application or report adds more integration work and maintenance.

‍

What you get {skip}
  • A Unified Namespace architecture for your production environment
  • A structured namespace and agreed data conventions
  • Connected publishers and consuming systems
  • A defined deployment and data-ownership model
  • Documentation and knowledge transfer

‍

Make live machine data available to the systems that depend on it. {Edge & Cloud connectivity}

Edge and cloud connectivity creates the technical route from machines and PLCs to on-premise systems or cloud environments. This gives MES, manufacturing applications and data platforms access to machine data in real time. Mayker puts that connectivity in place within your existing IT/OT landscape, including production environments where older and newer technology operate side by side.

‍

Usefull when {skip}

You need real-time machine data for an MES, manufacturing application, analytics platform or cloud service, but legacy equipment, vendor restrictions or fragmented connections are getting in the way.

‍

What you get {skip}
  • A working application for one defined production process
  • Digital workflows and data capture where the work happens
  • Integration with the systems relevant to that process

‍

Run your manufacturing software in an environment you control. {Infrastructure deployment}

Manufacturing applications, Unified Namespace platforms and integration workloads need infrastructure that can run close to production. Mayker sets up and deploys the environment required to run the solutions we build, on-premise or in your own cloud. After deployment, your team can take ownership or move the environment into Run & Improve for ongoing monitoring, support and further development.

‍

Usefull when {skip}

You need infrastructure for production applications or data services and want to keep control over where they run, how they are deployed and who can access them.

‍

What you get {skip}
  • A deployment environment configured for the solution
  • Deployment on-premise or in your cloud environment
  • A clear handover to your internal team or Mayker’s Run & Improve team
Our principles

Connect once. Build on it step by step.

We look beyond the connection needed today. By aligning Operations, IT and OT around a shared architecture, each step makes production data easier to use for what comes next.

Know the landscape before adding to it.

Machines, PLCs, historians, applications and cloud platforms rarely follow one clean structure. Mapping the current data flows and constraints shows what can stay, what needs to change and where connections are missing.

--

Give Operations, IT and OT the same starting point

Operations, IT and OT agree on which data matters, where it needs to go and what it will be used for. This gives the technical team clear priorities and requirements for the architecture.

--

Avoid rebuilding the same connection later

Consistent naming and data structures make the same production data usable across applications, dashboards and systems.

--

Prove it in production, then expand

Start with a manageable scope and validate it in the production environment. What works can extend to the next machine, line, application or site.

PoC to Production in IIoT: Using UNS and HiveMQ Cloud MQTT Platform

How Mayker uses HiveMQ Cloud, MQTT and a Unified Namespace to test IIoT solutions and connect industrial data across systems.

frequently asked questions

A few things you may want to know.

Learn more about how Mayker scopes, builds and supports applications for production environments.

A Unified Namespace is first an architectural approach, not a product you simply buy and install. It defines how production data is structured, contextualised and shared so machines, systems and applications can work with the same information.Technology is needed to put that approach into practice, but buying a platform does not automatically give you a working UNS. The data structure, ownership, integration patterns and use cases still need to be defined around your production environment. Our view is to use the UNS principles as a foundation and implement them step by step. You do not need to connect every machine or solve every use case at once. Start where the value is clear, while structuring the data so the next application, line or site can build on it.

Often, yes. Legacy machines do not always need to be replaced before their data can be collected. Depending on the PLC, available protocols and access provided by the machine vendor, an industrial edge layer can make machine data available to modern applications, MES platforms or cloud environments.
Not every machine is equally accessible. We first determine which data can be captured reliably and whether it makes more sense to begin with a newer machine or production line.

It can, provided local continuity is designed into the IT/OT architecture. Edge or on-premise components can keep essential production functions and data flows available when a connection to central or cloud systems is interrupted.The setup depends on which processes must remain operational, how long the site needs to run independently and which production data must be synchronised afterwards.

Start by making the current architecture visible. Map the machines, PLCs, systems, production data flows and existing connections before adding another platform or point-to-point integration.Mayker’s Maturity Check for UNS turns that view into a target architecture, prioritised use cases and a practical implementation roadmap. You know where you are, where to go and how to get there.

No. We first look at the data you need, where it comes from and which systems need to use it. From there, we determine whether an API, MQTT, an edge solution or another integration pattern fits the situation.You get a grounded technical decision without having to define the architecture upfront.
