About the Role

You’re curious about how things are made and how they could be made more efficiently. As a Manufacturing Consultant at Mayker, you turn that curiosity into practical improvements for manufacturers.

You work with operators, production teams and management to understand their processes and challenges. From the first conversation on the shop floor to implementation and training, you help translate business needs into solutions that make daily work easier and production more efficient.

‍

What You’ll Do

  • Analyse production processes with the people who work with them every day.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity and the flow of information.
  • Translate business needs into functional specifications and design documents.
  • Work with architects and developers to turn requirements into practical solutions.
  • Prepare change requests, test scenarios and user acceptance tests.
  • Organise training and guide customers through implementation and change.
  • Check that delivered solutions meet the agreed requirements.

‍

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience with manufacturing environments, IT and automation projects, including ERP and MES systems.
  • Strong analytical skills and the curiosity to understand how a process really works.
  • The ability to connect shopfloor details with wider business goals.
  • Clear, confident communication with everyone from operators to management.
  • A structured approach, a sense of ownership and the drive to follow things through.
  • Team spirit and a willingness to share ideas and learn from others.
  • Fluency in Dutch and English; French is a plus.

‍

What We Offer

For someone who enjoys understanding how a factory works, there’s plenty to get stuck into. You’ll spend time with the people running production, untangle processes together and help turn their practical knowledge into improvements.

You’ll have colleagues to compare notes with, question an approach and celebrate progress. The satisfaction comes from seeing something work better, and sharing that moment with the people who made it happen.

‍

You’ll Enjoy

  • Hands-on manufacturing projects with a clear connection to the people your work helps.
  • A close-knit team with room for ideas, questions and humour.
  • Learning opportunities and space to shape your career.
  • A healthy balance between work and life.
  • An attractive salary, company car and fuel card.
  • Group and hospitalisation insurance, plus the tools you need to succeed.
